The Sikh Temple of Sacramento at 2301 Evergreen Avenue is a place of worship for the majority of the Sikh population residing in the Greater Sacramento area.

The Sikh Temple of Sacramento (commonly known as Gurdwara or "gateway to the guru") was inaugurated in July 1983 in a building located on a two-acre site, and remodeled to accommodate the needs of the Sikh community.

Highway Cleanup

Sikh Temple Sacramento has adopted Highway 80 from Causeway to Mace Blvd in Davis.  Sikh Temple volunteers cleaned up this Highway for 18 years.
